The aesthetics of this retro caster are reminiscent of the timeless craftsmanship of the industrial machinery period. The wheel tread consists of a black polyurethane which is molded to a heavy duty cast iron core and is finished to Caster Connection's premium standard of textural detail. It is safe to use on all flooring types.
We designed the polyurethane on iron CC Vintage wheel for a better indoor alternative to the traditional cast iron. The dark polyurethane tread on cast iron core keeps the rustic vintage look without tearing up wooden floors. The poly will not mark up any floors, and is gentle enough to roll on floor tiles, carpet, and wood. It's the perfect indoor vintage caster.
When considering the choice between the cast iron or polyurethane on cast iron CC Vintage wheels, you must consider:

- Environment
- Range of mobility
CC Vintage caster wheels are great for stationary applications. We do not recommend using the cast iron wheels on wood or vinyl floors. The polyurethane on cast iron wheels are great for applications that need floor protection.
