CC Apex: Ergonomic Caster Wheels for the 21st Century
Before working with Caster Connection, a large manufacturer of various products was experiencing failure and breakdown with their phenolic wheels. These particular wheels were failing because the manufacturer’s environment was too rough for the kind wheels they had in use. A Caster Connection Regional Solutions Manager (RSM) visited the warehouse to inspect the issue himself.
The client experienced great performance improvements by switching from a phenolic wheel to the CC Apex wheels
The RSM viewed the wheels and explained to the client the pros and cons of using a phenolic wheel. He explained how the phenolic wheel, while economical, breaks down under the stress of rough and/or wet work environments. The RSM suggested using the CC Apex wheel because of its longevity and ability to dispel debris, and started the client out with a trial run of four wheels. The client was so happy with the trial that he stated he “can’t be without them now” and begun replacing his cart’s current wheels with CC Apex in order to improve all of his carts’ mobility by the end of the year.
