The CC Stout HD has the same polyurethane as the CC Apex and CC Stout. It simply offers you higher load capacity capabilities, particularly in the three-inch-wide models. It accomplishes this mainly with its robust cast-iron core and, in some cases, with its thicker more robust polyurethane. It is perfect for both manual and towline applications that require versatile polyurethane.

CC Stout HD carries weight capacities of 750-2,750 lbs.

Both the CC Apex and the CC Stout HD share the same polyurethane, so you get the same advantages with the CC Stout HD as you get with the CC Apex. The CC Stout HD varies from the CC Apex in two main ways: its core and tread design. The core is made from iron, which allows you to move more weight, but will look less aesthetically pleasing when exposed to the elements. The slightly-crowned tread of the CC Stout HD lessens the effect of the polyurethane because there is less of it. The wheel still repels debris, grips the floor, reduces noise, springs off of the ground, and resists flat-spotting, but it does this less so than the CC Apex with its donut tread. Overall, this is a superb wheel for specific applications with heavier loads and wheel dimension requirements.
