CC APEX WHEELS DISPEL DEBRIS AND PROTECT FLOORS

A machine shop approached Caster Connection when a customer of their own was suffering from failing wheels and casters. The customer had multiple racks in a facility with a floor covered in metal shavings. The customer tried using hard durometer wheels but found that they attracted debris and made far too much noise. The lower durometer wheels being used (from a popular brand) were quieter but also became embedded with metal shavings.

Wheels that accumulate metal shavings pose two problems for customers; the wheels wear down and cease to be effective, and the wheels badly damage floors.

After approaching Caster Connection, the end user began replacing his wheels with the 5" CC Apex. The customer found that not only did the wheels easily dispel debris, but they also rolled more smoothly and quietly.
