How long have you been with Caster Connection?
James Rappaport: 2017 marks my 8th year with Caster Connection.
What do you enjoy most about Caster Connection?
JR: Working with my great teammates to help solve our clients’ ergonomic issues. You will not believe how much talent and great personalities we have at Caster Connection. A lot of credit goes out to Caster Connection’s Client Solutions department, warehouse team, and marketing department. Our Client Solutions Representatives are the backbone of our operation. Our warehouse team has helped me countless times in making sure my clients get their products on schedule to complete their biggest projects, and our marketing team is made up of hard-working individuals who work extremely well with our solutions team.
What sets Caster Connection apart from other caster suppliers?
JR: Caster Connection’s service and products are second to none. Caster Connection’s proprietary products are awesome, and no other company in our industry offers the great service that we provide. I, personally, have had clients call me in the middle of the night and weekends seeking help from me to solve caster problems and prevent caster disasters. What kind of problems do you have to solve as a Regional Solutions Manager?
JR: A lot of problems I run into are caster-related, and involves helping clients solve their ergonomic issues, overall height problems and finding the right product that fits the project's budget and can last for quite awhile.
How do you evaluate a clients'/prospects' needs?
JR: Asking the right questions allows you to quickly understand the problems the client/prospect are having with their application(s). Carefully listening to the client/prospect is a major key. A lot of times I find that our clients/prospects are not familiar with the casters and are not sure on how to go about solving the caster issues they are trying to address. Asking concise caster questions have allowed us to solve our client’s/prospect’s problems quickly and effectively.
What’s your philosophy on serving clients'/prospects'?
JR: Completely understand your client’s needs and follow through with everything. When a client needs a quote back or a question answered, we do the best we can to get back to them right away, if not, as soon as we can. It is very important to keep clients/prospects in the loop and not leave them in the dark. My former boss used to say, “Treat your clients better than your family because, it’s your family you’re trying to feed." I live by those words.
Which item from Caster Connection’s product line is your favorite and why?
